Match Comments:
SSFAC playing on the road for the 3rd time in 4 games, and with a team depleted due to players missing and numerous injuries, still managed to defeat Club Sport Maritimo 4-2 Sunday afternoon in Santa Clara. With the pressure on because of a very short bench, SSF tallied 3 first half goals, and then got a finisher at the 90th minute to seal the win. Kenny Ewbank and Pablo Bedoya found the cord for the 1st time this season, and goals from Stephen Shaw-Smith and Andrew Pantano led the way as SSF captured victory number 2 on the season. The midfield play and steady defensive effort supported the attack, and kept Maritimo from mounting any real pressure.
