SSFAC to Battle for Top Spot as Play Resumes !!

South City's inaugural season in the SWPL's Pacific Premier has been a positive thus far as the team sits near the top of the table in what has been a very competitive league.....Click Here as Story Continues.

As play resumes after the winter holiday break, the remaining matches will be even more challenging as SSFAC will face the clubs they are battling with for a shot at winning the league.  

The schedule will be a tough test as January sees the team on the road to play Dublin Celtic FC and Juventus Academy Silicon Valley. In between will be a home game against their biggest rival, Santa Clara Sporting.

February, SSF will have 2 key games against Modesto City FC, as the teams split a pair of home games on consecutive weekends. South City will also travel across the bay to face Bay Area United in Alameda.

Finally in March, JASA RWC, one of the top teams in the SWPL will close out SSF's season as they host the team in Redwood City in what should be a very big game.

With 7 games left on the schedule and only 2 of those at home, the team will have to be at their best if they hope to stay in the race. The teams play thus far has shown that they should be considered as a serious contender and they will definitely give it their all down the stretch.
